How this works.
Is my music uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser decodes the file and runs the whole analysis locally. Nothing about your track ever leaves your device.
How accurate is the BPM and key detection?
It is a solid estimate, good enough for set prep, not a lab-grade analyzer. Very quiet intros or heavily filtered tracks can throw it off; a clip with clear drums and harmony works best.
What is a Camelot code?
A shorthand for musical key (like "8A") used for harmonic mixing: tracks that share a number, or are one number apart, generally mix well together.
Why milliseconds for delay times?
Most delay, echo and reverb plugins let you dial in an exact time in milliseconds even when their preset list only offers note divisions like 1/4 or 1/8.
